Metrolyrics is one of the leading lyrics sites on the net. Established in 2000 Metrolyrics was one of the first free sites to add the latest lyrics as new songs come out. With over 275,000 lyrics in the database, more and more lyrics get added to the site everyday, either by users or the admins ( MrLister and AlanJ ) or myself.

As well as the huge lyrics database, we also offer a forum if the lyrics you are looking for are not available. The forum is a wide growing community, which offers the following catagories:

Another great feature is the Winamp plugin called “Lyrics Seeker”. This feature allows you to play lyrics to songs currently playing once downloaded. When lyrics are found a small balloon will appear in the toolbar for 10 seconds which you can double click to locate the lyrics ( clever eh? ) If however the lyrics were not found the “Lyrics Seeker” icon will remain grey in the toolbar.
